Megaupload founder Kim Dotcom is looking for translators of Basque for his next service that will be dubbed Mega.

Dotcom, who is hosting the Mega launch event at his New Zealand estate, stated on Tuesday in a tweet that they still needed "additional translators" for Basque.

Translators were also required for other five languages that included Russian, Korean, Japanese, Maori and Bosnian.

Those who want to help Kim Dotcom to offer Mega in the Basque language need to write him an email to twitter@kim.com.

Basque language, although a minority language, is also available on other global services on the Internet. It is one of the languages available on Firefox, Facebook and Twitter.

Basque language is the second most tweeted minority language on Twitter. More than 7000 Twitter account holders post their tweets mostly in Basque, second only to the number of Haitian Creole tweeters, more than 14000 in total.

Megaupload

Dotcom's previous project, Megaupload, was established in 2005 and ran a number of online services related to file storage and viewing. The domain names were seized and the sites associated with Megaupload were shut down by the United States Department of Justice on 19 January 2012, following the indictment and arrests of the owners for allegedly operating as an organization dedicated to copyright infringement.

The company's founder, Kim Dotcom, has denied any wrongdoing, and the case against Dotcom, who is a resident of New Zealand, has been the subject of controversy over its legality. The US judge handling the case has expressed doubts about whether the case will come to court.
